Marcella loves nothing more than helping moms through their birth journeys. It started with giving advice to friends and family and from there that passion has only grown. Having spent the majority of her career working for a financial institution which serves ultra–high net worth families and individuals, white-glove service, attention to detail, and on-the-spot troubleshooting are Marcella’s specialties. She is an avid learner and loves how speaking three languages enables her to appreciate other cultures at a deeper level.

Marcella worked full-time during both of her pregnancies and experienced first-hand the stress of preparing for a baby while juggling the demands of her career. She was also caught off guard by the lack of mentorship when it came to preparing for maternity leave. At times it felt like her career had become a roadblock to becoming the mother she desired and that motherhood was complicating her professional goals as well. She knew there had to be a way to find the right balance.

Marcella founded Flourish Maternity Concierge because she feels deeply that mothers deserve to thrive in the aspects of their lives that matter most to them by having the logistical support they need when they need it most. Marcella truly believes that the more fully supported a woman is during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, the more likely she is to emerge a confident and powerful mother, capable of shaping the world through both her family and career.
